A play that can't be picked up from the discard pile.
Defenseless receiver
If a player decides to use a power move draw play or pick six on the player behind them that person is a defenseless receiver and can't defend the play.
Defensive Mode
This is the state of being able to make a defensive move that will ignore the default rule of having to pick up a card. Defensive modes include blocking an interception with a deflection and or chaining a draw play or pick six to avoid picking up cards.
Deflection
A card that can block an interception or block a set from being intercepted or a streak from being intercepted if it contains one of these cards.
Delay of Game
A player taking too long to make a move. (Too long can be 45 sec to a minute) There is no actual penalty for this, but you can create a house rule.
